BPW/FL, A nonpartisan, grassroots organization for working women

BPW/FL is a State Legacy Partner of the Business & Professional Women’s Foundation, the first foundation dedicated to conducting research and providing information solely about working women.

Founded in 1919, BPW has a long track record of promoting equity for women in the workplace. BPW provides leadership through advocacy, education, and information within our communities, states, and the nation on issues we all care about.

THROUGHOUT THE YEARS BPW HAS FOCUSED ON THREE CORE ISSUES:

1. The Elimination of Gender Discrimination
2. Equal Pay
3. Ratifying the Equal Rights Amendment

BPW’s commitment to these issues is reflected by the BPW/FL Public Policy Platform, which provides members with the tools they need to become effective advocates and have a strong voice in Tallahassee and Washington, D.C.
