Demystifying Estate Planning!

The Top 10 Things to Know BEFORE You Meet With Your Attorney

Estate planning doesn’t have to be intimidating—and you shouldn’t need a law degree just to get started.

Join Darby Jones, JD, Professional Fiduciary, for a candid, practical conversation about what you should know before you sit down with an estate planning attorney.

We’ll tackle the questions people often don’t know to ask: How do you find the right attorney? What should you bring with you? Who should you trust to make decisions if you can’t? What exactly are all those documents—and do you really need them all? What about your house, your accounts, your jewelry, the safe deposit box…and the family dynamics nobody wants to talk about?

Darby will also venture into some of the uncomfortable territory—incapacity, difficult family relationships, end-of-life wishes and other conversations that are much easier to address before there’s a crisis.

Expect 10 practical tips, a little straight talk, and plenty of information to help you walk into your attorney’s office more organized, more confident and ready to make your estate plan truly yours.
